Responsibilities
- As Dean, you will provide academic leadership to Health and Medicine, supporting the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Health, Medicine, Science and Technology (PVC HMST).
- The role focuses on leading the external promotion of these disciplines, including with academic institutions and relationships with the NHS and the broader Healthcare domain.
- Supporting the development of education, research and engagement partnerships between businesses, public and charity organisations, and community user groups.
- Providing internal coherence to the faculty of Health and Medicine and promoting collaboration across campus.
- Leading initiatives and maximising interdisciplinary opportunities.
Qualifications
- We are seeking an outstanding individual with significant experience operating in a strategic leadership position such as Head of Department, Associate Dean or similar.
- You will bring exceptional people and communication skills, and the ability to build credibility and influence with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- We also require a research record in Health and Medicine and ability to lead research in the sector.
