Responsibilities
- Business Partnership: Collaborate with academic and professional staff to implement discipline-specific adjustments and inclusive practices.
- Expert Guidance: Offer specialist support to disabled students, ensuring compliance with the Equality Act 2010.
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of students, facilitating proactive meetings and handling external communications.
- Data Review: Analyse disability-related data to enhance services and practices within departments.
- Training and Development: Conduct workshops to promote inclusive practices among university staff.
Qualifications
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
- Experience with diverse disabilities in a higher education context.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to monitor, analyse data, and produce reports.
- Emotional resilience and the ability to support others.
Desirable Attributes
- Expertise in specific areas of disability.
- Knowledge of higher education inclusive practices.
