We currently have a vacancy for a part-time College Porter, working as part of our Security and Portering team. The successful applicant will work 12 hour night shifts, averaging 21 hours per week over a four week shift pattern, covering 365 days per year on our Bailrigg Campus. This vacancy is initially a fixed term contract until the end of July 2026.

You should be hard working, reliable, willing to learn and possess excellent customer service skills. Portering experience is not essential but desirable with experience of working in a similar environment. You should be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English and be committed to high standards, able to work on your own initiative and have a flexible approach and attitude to solving day to day problems. You should also have a willingness to undergo development training. It is desirable that you hold a full driving licence that is valid in the UK.
