Travel at Lancaster has changed significantly in recent years, with the team continuing to develop and expand its service to meet the needs of colleagues across the University.

We're looking for a proactive and customer focused individual to join the Travel team within Procurement. This is a great opportunity to support the ongoing development of the service, including supporting the effective use of new systems and ways of working.

About the Role

Support the delivery and ongoing improvement of Travel Services across the University

Work closely with colleagues across Finance and other departments

Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and external partners

Provide a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders, ensuring a professional and responsive approach

About You

Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

Works well as part of a team and builds effective working relationships

Can manage a varied workload with accuracy and attention to detail

Has an understanding of financial procedures and policies

Experience within the Travel industry is desirable but not essential. We welcome applicants who can demonstrate transferable skills and a willingness to learn.

Additional Information

The role follows the University's hybrid working model, with approximately 40% home working
