Working closely with academic and professional services colleagues, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the full lifecycle of student appeal cases and SAC processes, spanning undergraduate, postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students at both Lancaster and our partner institutions.
You will be a confident communicator, comfortable managing sensitive case files with accuracy and discretion, and with a demonstrable ability to coordinate hearings, monitor deadlines and maintain detailed records. Attendance at appeals and SAC hearings will be a regular part of the role, and you will also share ownership of managing and updating departmental web pages.
You will be a proactive self-starter with excellent organisational and IT skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a busy environment.
A good standard of general education (minimum 5 GCSEs Grades A-C, including Maths and English) is required, along with a proven track record in administrative roles. Experience within a Higher Education setting would be advantageous, though a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work and supporting students and staff through formal processes is essential.
