Role Summary

A self-motivated individual is required at 0.6 FTE (3 days per week or 4/5 shorter days) on a fixed-term contract for 12 months to provide a professional service for undergraduate programme delivery. You will be a member of the Biomedical & Life Sciences administrative team of Undergraduate Programmes Coordinators, dealing with shared Teaching Office systems and processes for Biomedical and Life Sciences undergraduate programmes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional administrative support for undergraduate programme delivery within the Biomedical & Life Sciences division.
  • Work with shared Teaching Office systems and processes; collaborate with academic staff, technical support staff and students.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy; work independently and as part of the administrative team.
  • Utilise experience with a range of administrative processes and Microsoft Office packages.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of administrative processes, ideally within an educational environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.

Environment and Benefits

You will be based in Biomedical and Life Sciences within the Faculty of Health & Medicine, interacting with academic staff, technical support staff and students. The Faculty comprises Health Research, Biomedical and Life Sciences, and Lancaster Medical School. The University promotes flexible working policies and a healthy work-life balance.

  • Annual leave: 25 days (pro-rata) plus university closure days and bank holidays.
