Our key client is currently looking for an experienced Talent Development Manager to join their team to help lead the professional growth and engagement of early‑career consultants. This role is focused on building capability, delivering impactful learning experiences, and enabling consultants to thrive in client‑facing roles. They specifically require someone who has a strong grasp of change & transformation. The position can be worked on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week expected in their Manchester office or on client side as well as some travel being involved.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for designing and overseeing development programmes, mentoring consultants, and ensuring they have the tools, skills, and confidence to succeed. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to align talent initiatives with organisational priorities and drive measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structured development journeys for consultants, from onboarding through to advanced skill‑building.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and learning interventions throughout their career progression.
- Plan and manage onboarding experiences, buddy schemes, and professional development events.
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure development initiatives meet business needs.
- Promote continuous learning, professional certifications, and leadership growth opportunities.
- Support performance management and improvement plans with clarity and fairness.
- Introduce innovative approaches, tools, and initiatives to enhance consultant capability and engagement.
