Our client, a leading global consulting and professional services organisation, is looking for an experienced Amazon Connect Solutions Architect (Manager level) to join their growing cloud and customer transformation practice. This is a hands-on role focused on designing, implementing, and optimising enterprise-scale Amazon Connect solutions, working across AWS services and third-party integrations to deliver modern customer contact centre platforms. This role can be operated on a hybrid basis (3 days per week) out of any of our clients UK offices. Alongside the base salary there is an extremely competitive benefits scheme as well as bonus on offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable and secure Amazon Connect solutions including IVR, call routing, chat, and automation capabilities
- Lead the implementation and delivery of contact centre transformation projects
- Integrate Amazon Connect with AWS services and third-party platforms such as CRM systems
- Optimise existing contact centre environments to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical delivery teams to gather requirements and define solutions
- Produce technical documentation including architecture designs and implementation plans
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and engineers
- Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and operational best practices
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Amazon Connect and AWS cloud technologies
- Knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, and CloudFormation
- Understanding of telephony, VoIP, IVR, and contact centre technologies
- Experience integrating contact centre platforms with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Zendesk
- Exposure to scripting/programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Node.js
- Proven experience delivering enterprise contact centre or customer experience solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification desirable
- Amazon Connect certifications or equivalent hands-on experience beneficial
