A Lecturer in Child Education is needed to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning across Levels 1–3, supporting students to achieve academic and personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging learning programmes using a range of teaching strategies.
- Develop inclusive learning resources and assignments.
- Accurately assess, monitor and internally verify student work, and prepare samples for external moderation.
- Work within agreed curriculum frameworks and targets, contributing to curriculum development.
- Complete required administrative tasks and provide timely, accurate data and records.
- Act as a course manager and/or tutor.
- Deliver effective tutorial and pastoral support.
- Support student recruitment and marketing activities.
- Maintain high levels of retention achievement and behaviour.
- Visit students on vocational placements to assess competence.
- Accompany students on educational visits when required.
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the grade of post.
