Position: Cleaning Operative – Hospitality & Catering
Location: Lancaster | Part time, 18.5 hours per week | Salary: £24,521 per annum (Pro Rata, Term Time Only).
Responsibilities
- The Cleaning Operative will undertake daily cleaning tasks in professional kitchens and catering facilities, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Duties include:
- Cleaning and maintaining specialised equipment.
- Safe storage and disposal of materials.
- Organising linen and laundry.
- Keeping cleaning and food safety records up to date.
- Working closely with tutors, colleagues, and learners.
- Reporting hazards, defects, or concerns promptly and ensuring health & safety requirements are met.
