About the job:

  • A growing practice looking for a part-time associate for two days a week.
  • Mixed NHS/private work utilising a zoned diary.
  • Would suit someone who has done any Squadron courses, but will consider someone like-minded and willing to invest in themselves.
  • Competitive UDA rate and a great private percentage taking over an existing list of patients.

About the practice:

  • Modern six-surgery practice with a dedicated hygienist room and a great supportive team of nurses and receptionists.
  • Based in South Norwood (Bromley/Croydon border) near Norwood Junction Rail station (12 minutes to London Bridge) and a good bus service.
  • Ample on-site parking.
  • Foundation training practice with learning opportunity from dentists with special interest in endo, ortho, cosmetic dentistry, occlusion, implants and facial aesthetics.
  • Three specialist oral surgeons taking IMOS referrals from over 30 practices. Great opportunity for shadowing and developing your OS skills.
  • Practice has a small NHS ortho contract and provides private orthodontic treatment with fixed braces as well as Invisalign. Great opportunity to learn and develop ortho skills.
  • Fully computerised with all the equipment to do great dentistry (CBCT, iTero, Trios, & Medit scanners, endo microscope, intra-oral cameras, SLR cameras).
  • Principal & associates have a broad spectrum of clinical skills that can be shared:
    • General dentistry
    • Occlusion and complex restorative
    • Oral surgery
    • Implant surgery & restoration
    • Fixed orthodontics & clear aligners
    • Endodontics
    • Removable prosthodontics
    • Periodontal therapy and perio surgery
    • Facial aesthetics

About you:

  • Must be GDC registered and have a performer number.
  • Must have good communication skills and can build strong professional relationships with patients to win their trust.
  • Must appreciate the importance of working in a team.
  • Must demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Be clinically competent and confident to do general dentistry including ceramic crowns and composites. An interest in perio would be beneficial.
  • You should be skilled in dental photography and comfortably use dental loupes.
  • Should also be able to demonstrate a portfolio of your work.
  • Must have an understanding that first, deliver good dentistry with dedication and excellence and only then you earn the rewards that follow.
