We are looking for a motivated and versatile Breakfast and Bar Assistant to join our team. This is not a typical waiter/waitress role—our assistant performs a variety of all-round duties, including food preparation, buffet management, kitchen porter tasks, table clearance and cleaning, hosting guests, and supporting bar service. Flexibility and a willingness to cover all these areas are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare breakfast items, including baking bakery products and warm food daily for the buffet in the oven
Refill the buffet according to daily demand
Assist with kitchen porter duties including cleaning and dishwashing
Clear and clean tables promptly to maintain a tidy dining area
Provide excellent hosting skills by greeting and assisting customers warmly
Handle cash and credit card payments accurately and efficiently
Support bar service including preparing drinks and maintaining cleanliness
Open and close shifts according to operational procedures
Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
Maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout your shift

Qualifications
Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Certification preferred
Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
Basic cash handling and payment processing experience
A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
