Part-Time Hygiene Specialist
The Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking a Part Time Hygiene Specialist for the 2026-27 school year.
The chosen candidate will assist in the training and personal care of individuals with developmental disabilities.
An employee in this classification may receive direction from an administrator, instructor, instructor assistant or educational aide.
As an employee of the Fairfield County Board of Developmental Disabilities, the job incumbent shall comply with all Board policies at all times, and shall demonstrate respect for, support the dignity of, and observe the rights of all individuals served by the agency.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the training and personal care of individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Follow directions given by administrators, instructors, instructor assistants or educational aides.
- Support the dignity and observe the rights of all served individuals.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An Educational Aide Certificate from DODD/ODE is required.
- CPR and First Aid knowledge will be provided by the employer.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $17.90, based upon experience and qualifications.
