Lancaster City Council is recruiting for an exciting position at the award-winning Tranquil Spa within Salt Ayre Leisure Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join an enthusiastic and passionate Spa and Beauty team, working with products such as Elemis, Ishga, and Jessica. We are looking for a results-focused and enthusiastic individual who is eager to contribute to the ongoing success of Tranquil Spa and Salt Ayre Leisure Centre.
The successful candidate will provide a range of treatments to clients and ensure the highest standards of customer service. Responsibilities include reception duties and maintaining cleanliness in the spa and treatment areas. Candidates should have relevant qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Beauty.
The Spa includes three treatment rooms, two nail bars, spray tanning, and a thermal suite with unique features such as the UK’s first water mill sauna, herbal sauna, salt inhalation steam, and aromatherapy steam rooms. This is a temporary role to cover maternity leave until March 2026, with 37 hours per week on a rota, including evenings and weekends.
