The Property Team are an integral part of the Council and are key in managing the property portfolio effectively and efficiently. As an Asset Management Support Assistant based within this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team in the development, implementation and monitoring of asset management activities. You will assist our Asset Manager and Project Officers in ensuring that the councils asset information is up to date and accurate, and help to ensure the teams activities meet all regulatory, good practice and legal obligations, ensuring the safety of our properties, tenants, colleagues and visitors.

This role offers hands-on experience while working towards the Housing and property management (level 3) apprenticeship. You'll have all the support you need to learn new skills whilst working with us and will spend 20% of your time in the role on your studies. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship and demonstration of competency in role, you'll move to a full-time, permanent role with the Council.
