Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of artists and designers? Lancaster & Morecambe College is seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Hourly Paid Lecturer in Art & Design to join our creative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a practitioner-educator who wants to make a genuine difference to learners within a dynamic further education environment.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Art & Design programmes, supporting students to develop their creative, technical and professional skills. You will plan and deliver inclusive, engaging and inspiring learning experiences that meet a range of learner needs, while using effective assessment strategies to track progress and support achievement.
You will be responsible for setting, marking and internally verifying student work, maintaining accurate learner records and course documentation, and contributing actively to course reviews, curriculum development and team meetings. A key part of the role is supporting students' progress, behaviour and achievement, while consistently promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, and health & safety within all aspects of teaching and learning.
