Do you want to support Electrical Installations students to achieve their career goals in a practical way? Lancaster and Morecambe College are seeking a specialist Electrical instructor and maintenance technician to join our Construction and Engineering department, working alongside tutors in our state-of-the-art Construction Centre. Your responsibilities will include the instruction of practical sessions to small groups of learners, focusing on practical skills and development, as well as ensuring a healthy and safe environment.

You should hold a Level 2 or 3 qualification in the Electrical Installations and have experience within the general construction industry. We will support you over time to achieve an in-house teaching qualification. This role provides an ideal opportunity for someone considering a gradual transition from the trade into teaching, passing on skills to a new generation.
