About the role
The School of Medicine and Dentistry wishes to appoint an Administrative Assistant to join our MBBS team at our Westlakes Campus, Cumbria. The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure successful delivery of the undergraduate MBBS clinical years. A critical element of this role is liaison with University of Lancashire’s partner clinical institutions. The role involves monitoring attendance, collating student feedback and providing support with portfolios and assessments. The post holder will plan the delivery of campus-based teaching and liaise with internal staff and external organisations to organise delivery. The post holder will work at the University of Lancashire’s Westlakes Campus which is in Whitehaven, Cumbria. Occasional travel to other University of Lancashire campuses and partner institutions may be required.
About you
You will be an excellent administrator with strong communication and organisational skills. You will be proficient in the use of IT and Microsoft Office and have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning.
