About the role:
The School of Engineering and Computing at the University of Lancashire is home to a vibrant and growing community of students and staff within Architecture and Construction. We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to support teaching and contribute to a highâquality student learning experience across our Architecture provision. The primary purpose of this role is to support structured module delivery and to provide academic and pastoral support within design studio (workshop) activities. The post holder will contribute to the assessment of creditâbearing work and provide timely, constructive feedbackâboth formally and informallyâto support student learning and development. This appointment will play a key role in delivering highâquality studioâbased teaching, ensuring compliance with professional body requirements and internal academic regulations, and enhancing the overall student experience across all Architecture cohorts.
About you:
You will have experience of teaching in a higher education environment within a relevant discipline and will demonstrate a strong commitment to highâquality teaching and student support. You will be IT literate, able to work effectively on your own initiative, and contribute positively as part of a collaborative academic team. You will hold an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, together with a relevant postgraduate qualification. A professional registration with RIBA and/or ARB is essential for this role.
