We are seeking an exceptional educator with a thorough understanding of Clinical Dental Technology and Dental Technology, its contemporary challenges and future direction. You will ensure the curriculum remains current, evidence-based and professionally relevant, preparing graduates to meet the evolving needs of patients and the profession.
Responsibilities
- You will have overall responsibility for the academic leadership, coordination and ongoing development of the Clinical Dental Technology and Dental Technology curricula.
- This includes ensuring excellence in learning, teaching and assessment, enhancing the student experience and student success, supporting employability, and maintaining high standards of academic quality.
- You will also contribute to developing the School's research and scholarly activity, helping to foster an evidence-informed culture of educational innovation.
Qualifications
- You will have experience of teaching and module leadership within higher education with outstanding delivery and learning support, a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and learning and the ability to network with a variety of stakeholders.
- The successful candidate will be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dentist, with current registration and good standing.
- You will hold a formal teaching qualification or Fellowship (Descriptor 2) of Advance HE along with an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject.
