The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester & North Merseyside are delighted to have taken over the running of the café in Queen’s Park, Bolton, creating a community space that also helps to support nature.

As well as our Retail and Catering operation, the Café will become a hub for the community filled with nature themed activities, wellbeing sessions and educational events, which will also take place out in the park.

We have a really exciting opportunity for Volunteer Rangers to join our newly created Team.

We are looking for volunteers to patrol Queen\’s Park for 2-hour slots, carrying out a range of daily checks, engaging with our visitors, assisting with visitor management and providing support in emergency or out of the ordinary situations.

You will be our eyes and ears in the park, so will be playing a vital role in ensuring that our visitors have a memorable day out.
