Pram Walk volunteers help us to deliver the Pram Walks at Queen\’s Park, Bolton, every Wednesday morning. After a period of training and induction you will take the lead on delivering the walks.

Each walk has a designated walk leader and back marker, who have different roles during the walk. Volunteers alternate weekly and carry out the roles of both the leader and also the back marker.

Our Pram Walks encourage our very youngest visitors to connect with nature and in many cases, families begin a lifelong connection with The Wildlife Trust.

Many of our former pram walkers often visit our sites with their growing children and expanding families, exploring the outdoors being inspired by nature and taking part in our events.

The aim of the pram walks is to provide an opportunity for new parents/carers to get some exercise and to meet and socialise with each other.

If you are interested in joining our new Volunteer Team at Queen\’s Park, Bolton, please email Sarah atsleach@lancswt.org.uk in the first instance to register your interest in this role.

We will then arrange a time for you to come to Queen\’s Park, to have a look around and have a chat about the role in more detail.

Please note that we can only take volunteers aged 18+ in this role.
