Overview
We are looking for Theatre Support workers to join our amazing team at Royal Preston Hospital. Our Theatre support workers play an essential role in the smooth running of our theatres and help us maintain high quality patient care in an environment which is clean & safe. There will be a rotation of shifts including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Support the theatre team to achieve the highest standards of patient care.
- Participate as a member of the circulating team to assist the scrub practitioner during surgery.
- Provide reassurance for patients who may be anxious about going into the operating theatre.
- Assist with the movement of clean/dirty instrumentation throughout the theatre complex.
- Demonstrate a supportive and flexible approach to service delivery.
