Are you passionate about making a real difference to the lives of women, and their families who have complex social needs.

We would like to recruit a highly motivated Midwife to join our welcoming, supportive and friendly Enhanced Support Midwifery team working across central Lancashire.

You will work in partnership with a multi-agency and multi-disciplinary team from midwifery, health and social care to provide and co-ordinate the highest standards of care for women and their families with complex social issues.

You will support their colleagues through coordinating care; providing training and guidance in maternal mental health for key maternity staff, to enable them to provide holistic care that optimises mental as well as physical health.

️ Perform a key role within the enhanced support midwifery team. Within this role, it is essential to develop and maintain high standards of care for women and their families with complex social needs and challenges in pregnancy and the postnatal period.

You will support the specialist midwives within the team on a daily basis caring for women and their families with complex social issues.

You will be rostered within the team to carry out the daily safety huddle and duty responsibilities.

Have a sound based knowledge of working families with complex social issues.
