Sale Sharks Foundation is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Disability & Social Inclusion Development Officer to play a key role in delivering inclusive programmes across our Community Inclusion work. As a hands-on professional, you will deliver engaging, high-quality sessions for people with a wide range of abilities across schools, community settings, and targeted programmes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Take ownership of allocated programmes, such as our flagship Tackle Together programme, and support wider community inclusion initiatives including Breaking Barriers, social hubs, ASB youth work, veterans support and outreach activity.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, partners and community organisations – coordinate sessions, support engagement, and help grow participation across our programmes.
  • Blend delivery, organisation and relationship-building to make a positive impact in the community.
