Water Meadow View is a brand-new specialist £32m mental health support facility for adults with learning disabilities in Lancashire and South Cumbria. Set on a rural 50-acre site in Whittingham, Preston, the 14 bedded unit will bring patients closer to their homes, communities and loved ones with patient-centred care, recovery and wellbeing at the heart.
The dedicated facility has been co-designed alongside learning disability experts by experience and its name, chosen in partnership with experts by experience and service users, is a reflection of its picturesque, green surroundings which are ideal for mental health recovery.
