Mobile Plant Relief Operative
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Operations team at Lancashire Renewables Ltd. working on a 2-shift system at our Leyland facility.
What youll be doing The Mobile Plant Relief Operative will be responsible for the safe undertaking of mobile plant activities within the waste processing operation.
Additionally, when required, support the mobile plant team and carry out general process operative activities associated with processing operations and the general site.
This role involves safely and efficiently operating mobile plant equipment across the site and supporting general processing activities to keep everything running smoothly.
Youll work closely with the weighbridge team, logistics, maintenance, and other site operatives to keep waste processing operations on track, jumping in with hands-on help when needed.
Youll also take care of routine paperwork and attend regular team meetings and safety briefings.
Staying safe and compliant is a big part of the job, so you'll carry out checks on vehicles, handle basic maintenance, and help keep the site clean and tidy.
What you will bring To be successful in this position, it is essential that you hold an NPORS or equivalent for FLT or Tele-truck.
Additionally, you must demonstrate a willingness to undertake further training to obtain qualifications for operating other mobile plant equipment including FEL.
