An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Operations and Maintenance team at Lancashire Renewables Ltd. working 40 hours per week on a 2-shift system at our Leyland facility.
The AT/AD Technician will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the waste facility, with particular focus on the Bio-drying Operations and Odour Abatement Systems. The post holder will provide support in the day-to-day operational waste processing activities through hands-on involvement.
What you will bring:
- Specialist knowledge of Bio-drying, Bio-filters and Ammonia Scrubbers and process services.
- Competency to operate FLT (advantageous).

Who are we?
Lancashire Renewables Ltd was established for the operation and management of the two waste treatment facilities built for the Lancashire Waste Contract. Our two facilities in Thornton and Leyland are manned 365 days a year. Both sites can process over 5,000 tonnes of residual (black bin bag) waste per week and divert 95% of this material away from landfill. Our aim is to achieve a sustainable future for Lancashire by providing services to process biodegradable and non-biodegradable community waste and our people are vital in helping us achieve this.
