Assess and annually update the UK Tax Strategy Provide tax advice and support to internal stakeholders, such as local finance teams and senior management and maintain relationships with other functions such as legal and HR Stay up to date with global tax developments, assess their impact on the Group’s tax position and advise on strategic options Lead the Groups OECD Pillar 2 and Bermuda CIT ‘project’. Assume responsibility for the tax disclosure / notes in the Group’s AR&A and the subsidiary companies IFRS financial statements Working with external advisors assume responsibility for transfer pricing ensuring compliance with tax regulations, documentation requirements and that transfer pricing policies and processes meet HMRC expectations and best practice guidelines Ensure compliance with the annual CBCR requirements (& TCSH calculations) working with the Finance team ensuring accuracy of the submission Support the Finance team in the US in compliance with all applicable US taxes – Federal, BEAT and US Branch tax Indirect tax – work closely with the relevant teams in the UK ensuring the procedures and controls in place for VAT and IPT reporting meet HMRC expectations and guidance Experience in a similar tax role or equivalent experience at an accounting firm Strong understanding of international tax laws and regulations Experience in managing tax compliance for corporate income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes We engage with brokers, clients, communities, stakeholders and colleagues professionally and passionately as proud ambassadors of Lancashire.
