We are looking for a proactive, energetic, and patient Personal Assistant to support a 14-year-old young person to access the community and build confidence outside of the home. The young person is autistic and currently spends most of his time at home, attending school during the week. The aim of this role is to encourage and support him to engage in activities and enjoy time out in the community, helping to improve his wellbeing and social experiences. Duties include:
- Support after school and/or weekends (flexible hours)
- Encourage participation in activities such as basketball and other interests
- Suggest and plan enjoyable, suitable outings (e.g. quieter community spaces, parks, or structured activities)
