We are looking for compassionate and dedicated bank support worker(s) to join our small team in Lea, Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a profoundly disabled gentleman's life while working in a small supportive and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to the individual's varying needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, including administering medication, dressing, bathing, personal care and meal preparation.
- Support household chores during shifts.
- Support the individual to maintain independence and dignity.
- Administer medication and support with mobility when required.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and caring environment.
Qualities and requirements
- Previous experience in health and social care work is desirable but not essential (training / e-learning) will be provided.
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude.
- Ability to work well in a 2:1 environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends (at least two Saturdays, a month), etc.
- A DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) is required or willingness to complete.
