A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a personal assistant to support a friendly and good humoured young man both in his home and out in the local community.

Job Role

The main job role will be to act as a companion and mentor, supporting independence and broadening knowledge of local activities and groups.

Main tasks involve:

  • Taking out into the local community
  • Promoting independent life skills and giving support with household tasks
  • Encouraging new hobbies and taking an activity role in the hobbies alongside the client
  • Encouraging volunteering opportunities

Other requirements

  • A car owner/driver with business insurance is essential
  • Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check

We are looking for a mentor and companion with a positive outlook and a good sense of humour. Someone who is youthful and is willing to participate in activities alongside the client.
