We are looking for a kind, reliable, and respectful Personal Assistant to support an intelligent adult client living in the Morecambe area.
The role involves supporting with daily living, shopping, social and leisure activities, occasional appointments, form filling, and contacting services when needed. The client enjoys cycling, walking, and occasional swimming, so being a confident cyclist is essential.
We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, supportive, open‑minded, and respectful of independence. Good timekeeping, basic technology skills, and a willingness to learn different communication styles are important. Knowledge of epilepsy is helpful but not essential, as training will be provided.
An enhanced DBS check is required due to children being present in the home.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support someone to live an active and fulfilling life while respecting their abilities, opinions, and independence.
Induction – 2 weeks at 4 hours per week alongside current support assistant (to be reviewed as appropriate). Following induction, this is a part‑time position for 6 hours per week at £12.71 per hour plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and a workplace pension scheme.
