Personal Assistant/Support Worker required to support an autistic female (30’s) who is chronically ill with multiple conditions.

As her Personal Assistant, you will support with everyday tasks such as administration, household chores, food prep and accessing the community.

Demonstrable experience and/or understanding of complex invisible illnesses, autism (with neurodivergent affirming beliefs) and mental health would be very useful for this role.

The role will involve a significant amount of administration/organisation tasks so a highly organised, systematic, intelligent and conscientious PA would be well-suited to this position. You must have excellent communication, empathy and interpersonal skills.

A driver with a full clean license is also highly desirable (as is food hygiene certificate).

This is a part time position for 10-12 hours per week at £11.50 – £13 per hour (depending on experience) plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.

The majority of working hours will be during the daytime on weekdays but occasional evenings or weekends may be required so some flexibility is desirable. This role is suitable for a job share between two PAs.
