An opportunity has arisen for 2 x Personal Assistants to provide support to a lady within her own home to remain independent. Our client is interested in going to the theatre, creative writing, and illustration so somebody with similar interests would be ideal.
As a Personal Assistant, your duties will include:
- Domestic – including tidying and opening/filing mail.
- Implementing routines and initiating tasks such as eating, drinking, booking, and getting to appointments and encouragement to help stay on task.
- Shopping – including meal planning, shopping, and budgeting.
- Social support – to include developing social skills, building relationships and accompanying to/from activities.
We are looking for caring, proactive, and motivated individuals with a passion for supporting others. Previous experience in a caring role is desirable but not essential, however experience/knowledge of autism would be ideal. A positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A driver with a full clean license is not essential but desirable. This is also a non-smoking environment.
There are currently 2 x part time positions available for 7 hours per week to be worked flexibly over the week (support is required during the daytime only) with an hourly rate of £12.95 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme (if eligible).
