LILS/KF/EC - Personal Assistant required - Chorley area
Are you a friendly, reliable individual who enjoys supporting others to live independently and enjoy life to the fullest? We're looking for a part-time Personal Assistant to support a wheelchair user in getting out and about in the community.
About the Role:
This is a non-personal care role, focused on providing companionship and practical support during social and leisure activities. You'll be helping the client enjoy outings such as:
- Going to the cinema
- Bowling and other community activities
Requirements:
- A warm, patient and supportive approach
- Good communication skills
- A car driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential - the right attitude and willingness to learn are more important
