Location: Western Area Admin Hub, Blackpool Fire Station, 62 Forest Gate, Blackpool FY3 9RA

Salary: Grade 4, Spinal Column Point 9-13, £27,254 - £29,064 pro rata

Working Arrangements: 18.13 hours per week – Wednesday am or pm, all day Thursday and Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration support, including typing/word processing up to approximately 35 words per minute.
  • Maintain records accurately and work as part of a team; show initiative.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach to work and a commitment to equality and diversity.

Qualifications:

  • 4 GCSEs Grade A-C or equivalent, one of which should be English Language.
  • Previous office experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Typing/word processing speed of approximately 35 wpm.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to work as part of a team and show initiative.
  • Flexible approach to work; ability to maintain records accurately.
