LDG Contracts has been a leader in the manufacturing and installation of specialist aluminium products for over 30 years. Due to retirement, we are looking for a reliable and conscientious worker to operate the CNC Press Brake and other machines within the department. We mainly manufacture flat and angled pressings and a few metal brackets for our sister company LDG Contracts. This role is crucial in the production of high-quality aluminium doors and windows, contributing directly to our mission of excellence in the construction sector.

Responsibilities as a Press Brake Operator:

  • Setup and Operation: The operator prepares the press brake for production by selecting the appropriate dies and tools, adjusting settings, and ensuring the machine is functioning correctly.
  • CAD Drawing Interpretation: They read and interpret technical drawings to understand the specifications of the parts to be produced.
  • Material Handling: The operator manages the loading and unloading of metal sheets, ensuring they are secured properly for bending.
  • Quality Control: They inspect the finished products for accuracy and quality, using measuring tools to ensure they meet the required specifications.
  • Maintenance: Regular maintenance of the press brake is crucial, so operators often perform routine checks and minor repairs to keep the machine in optimal condition.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines is essential to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
