About the Role

Lancashire County Council provides catering services to over 500 schools, serving more than 60,000 meals daily. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at Caton St Pauls Primary School, Lancaster, to deliver high-quality, healthy, balanced meals for students.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Cook and serve food and beverages according to menus and production plans.
  2. Supervise and direct other staff members.
  3. Order supplies and manage deliveries.
  4. Maintain records and control stock.
  5. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience in large-scale catering.
  • Knowledge of food service and catering operations.
  • Organizational, cost control, and supervisory skills.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday, during term time.
