Role Overview
We are seeking an exceptional team member to join our Public Transport team as a Technical Support Officer.
Team and Responsibilities
The Public Transport Team is part of the Public and Integrated Transport service. Core activities include contracted bus services, public transport development, interchanges and bus stations, concessionary travel, school transport, and rail developments. The team collaborates with internal and external partners.
Key Duties
- Assist in producing bus passes for schools and concessionary passes.
- Maintain database and financial records for invoicing and debt recovery.
- Maintain, update, and extract information from systems and databases with limited supervision.
- Provide accurate advice and guidance to the public and service users, requiring excellent communication skills.
- Utilize advanced IT skills involving various software packages.
- Support the School Transport and NoWcard teams with technical services using practical and procedural knowledge.
