Are you a detail‑oriented payroll professional with a passion for systems and service excellence? Join our Finance Service at County Hall and play a key role in delivering high‑quality payroll services to over 35,000 employees across the North West.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and provide training to internal Payroll team members and customers/end users
- Be involved in developing increased customer engagement activities to user groups across LCC, schools and academies
- Provide technical support on complex payroll and pension matters, including PAYE, NIC, and pension reconciliations
- Produce meaningful management information and support project delivery within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters
Qualifications
- 4 GCSEs (A–C) including Maths and English
- Proven experience in a large, complex payroll environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide technical guidance
- Experience in producing management reports and delivering training
