Salary £35,235 – £39,513, Per annum | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Pro Rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen within payroll services at Lancashire County Council. The service provides payroll to over 31,000 employees for a diverse range of clients, including over 500 schools, district councils, academies, and multi-academy trusts.

The role of the technical specialist is to support and manage the payroll team in the efficient administration of a quality, accurate, and timely payroll and pensions function, in accordance with statutory, legislative, and contractual obligations. You will be part of a team providing a professional payroll service, working to strict monthly deadlines, and achieving monthly performance targets. The work will include delivering payroll system training and support to customers, as well as internal training to the Payroll Service.
