Summary

Are you passionate about making every moment count in a child\’s early years? Do you believe in nurturing emotional warmth, professional love, and care for our youngest learners? We are seeking a nurturing, professional, and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our Outstanding Federation of Maintained Nursery Schools. This role is initially based in our newly established Under 2s provision at Highfield Nursery School, with expectations to work across both settings in the federation.

What we are looking for:

  • A strong understanding of early child development
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and emotional support
  • A team player who thrives in a caring, inspiring environment
  • Someone who believes in the power of early education and wants to make a real difference, Grade C/ 5+ or above in GCSE in English
  • NVQ level 2 or above qualification – appropriate to the post (or equivalent)

Desirable Qualifications

  • Grade C/ 5+ or above in GCSE in Maths
  • Paediatric First Aid certification

Essential Experience

  • Experience of paid work or caring for children of relevant age

Desirable Experience

  • Evidence of observing and recording children\’s learning
