Salary £32,062 – £36,363 per annum | Permanent, Full time | 37 hours per week

Role description

This role is not open to international sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical statistics to support the Energy Team in reducing energy and water consumption, reducing emissions, and conserving natural resources.
  • Work as part of the Capital and Strategy Team to develop and deliver energy and water conservation initiatives across Lancashire County Council\’s portfolio of establishments.
  • Offer a cost-effective service covering electricity, fuel and water related matters.

Candidate requirements

  • Proficient in the use of spreadsheets and database packages.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collate, interpret and report on complex data.
  • Experience of reconciling accounts and financial modelling of costs.
  • A basic understanding of energy supply markets.
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with suppliers, customers and other key stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion invoicing, requisitioning and purchase order management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Experience of supervising and training less experienced members of staff.
