Role description
This role is not open to international sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical statistics to support the Energy Team in reducing energy and water consumption, reducing emissions, and conserving natural resources.
- Work as part of the Capital and Strategy Team to develop and deliver energy and water conservation initiatives across Lancashire County Council\’s portfolio of establishments.
- Offer a cost-effective service covering electricity, fuel and water related matters.
Candidate requirements
- Proficient in the use of spreadsheets and database packages.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to collate, interpret and report on complex data.
- Experience of reconciling accounts and financial modelling of costs.
- A basic understanding of energy supply markets.
- Ability to effectively manage relationships with suppliers, customers and other key stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion invoicing, requisitioning and purchase order management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, escalating issues where appropriate.
- Experience of supervising and training less experienced members of staff.
