Please see both MASH and CWD Social worker job specifications for a holistic view. The 2 Social workers will be solely working on SEND / CWD related contacts. The main area of activity will be –

Responsibilities

  • To respond to call backs relating to disabled children / SEND offering expert advice / signposting.
  • Respond to contacts and Mash assessments relating to disabled children / SEND, where a service has been requested.
  • To support with joint visits to children and families with Duty and assessment teams on more complex children.
  • To share your expertise with the whole Front Door workforce and offer L&D opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge base. This will include advisory discussions, and delivering workshops / L&D activity where relevant.
  • Collation of data to inform clear resource needed to support MASH after the 12 month period.
  • Contribute to multiagency audits / dip sampling.
