Role and responsibilities
This role requires a Senior Social Worker with current Approved Mental Health Professional qualification or an experienced Social Worker willing to work towards AMHP through promotion, with leadership qualities, to work across central Lancashire as part of the Adult Services Mental Health Team. The role involves working with adults with a range of mental health difficulties who require statutory interventions. You will undertake complex assessments, commission care, undertake duty tasks and work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team with a focus on collaboration and co-production. You will also assist the Team Manager with complaint handling, recruitment, supervision and delivering Best Practice sessions to your team. There is an expectation that Senior Social Workers will undertake their AMHP qualification if not already held.
