We are recruiting an Adult Mental Health Social Worker to work across Lancashire as part of the Adult Services Mental Health Team. Salary £36,363 - £40,477 per annum. Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week, Pendle.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake and review assessments of need, risk and capacity.
  • Sourcing and commissioning care, undertaking duty tasks and supporting discharge planning.
  • Work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team.
  • Engage in collaboration and coproduction with internal and external professionals, community services, carers and the people we are supporting.
  • Support adults with a range of mental health difficulties who require statutory interventions.
  • Contribute to the Community Mental Health Transformation in Lancashire.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Registered with Social Work England (SWE) or have applied to register with SWE.
  • Experience in adult mental health social care.
  • Commitment to a strength-based vision for social care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Social Work applicants must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with SWE. The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975. If successful, you will be required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a 'disclosure'. You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and you must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
