We’re looking for a Grade 8 Social Worker to join our Recruitment & Assessment Team within the Regional Adoption Agency (RAA). This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals and families throughout their adoption journey, helping to create safe, stable, and loving homes for children.

The Regional Adoption Agency works in partnership with:
- Lancashire County Council
- Blackpool Council
- Blackburn with Darwen Council
Together, we deliver a wide range of adoption services, including:
- Recruitment and assessment of prospective adopters
- Adoption support
- Family finding

About the Role
As a Recruitment & Assessment Social Worker, you’ll play a key role in guiding and supporting prospective adopters every step of the way.
This is a varied and fulfilling role where you will:
- Recruit and assess prospective adopters
- Deliver preparation and training (pre- and post-approval)
- Support families through the matching process
- Provide ongoing support once children are placed, up to the Adoption Order
You’ll build meaningful relationships with families and work closely with partner agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
