Working in our outstanding shared lives scheme you will be overseeing placements where individuals are supported within carers' homes in the community. You will be working to care quality commission requirements, and ideally will have some experience of working in the care sector.

There is a position available as a Support Officer within our wonderful Shared Lives Lancashire Service, supporting/monitoring our carers and people supported within the service. Shared Lives is rated 'Outstanding' by the Care Quality Commission and matches people with learning difficulties, physical disabilities or older vulnerable people, with Shared Lives Carers recruited and trained by the service.

Our Shared Lives Service offers the people we support the opportunity to live in a family environment, allowing them to develop their skills, be valued, involved in their community and gain confidence to become as independent as possible.
