A School Crossing Patrol Co-ordinator is required for the School Crossing Patrol Service across Lancashire. The candidate will report to the School Crossing Patrol Manager and work alongside them, assisting with the day-to-day running of the service. The hours are from 08:00 – 16:00 weekdays. Payment is Grade 7 currently starting at £32,061.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the day-to-day running of the School Crossing Patrol service across Lancashire.
  • Attend meetings and undertake site visits; hold a valid driving licence and have access to a motor vehicle for official journeys.
  • Oversee a small team of Area Organisers who each supervise 40+ crossing patrols.
  • Involve in recruitment, training, and supporting Area Organisers and SCP staff across the area.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure an effective service is provided.

Qualifications:

  • Enhanced DBS clearance and medical suitability for the post, plus two suitable references.
  • Valid driving licence and access to a motor vehicle for official journeys.
